The main compartment has two flexible dividers: you can use the whole compartment as one space which is big enough for many laptops (300 x 250 x 90 mm), or you can divide it into two or three sub-compartments so the digital SLR camera, the lens and the flashes can be stored separately. Quality SLR case with space for one spare lens and flash
I bought one for my Nikon D60, AF-S 18-55 VR Lens, and SB600 flash. This Nikon case is very well made. The wall are padded with a quite firm material to better protect the camera. The case is designed to be spacious. If you takes the dividers out, you can even use it as a laptop carry case. I highly recommend this case to all Nikon digital SLR users.

Bought this case for my Nikon D60 with 18-55mm lens, 55-200mm Lens, SB400 Flash and loads of other accessories. This case just eats it all! It's a great deal bigger than the picture suggests, coming in at about 32cm long, 11cm wide and 26cm high.
The entire case is made from a really strong and durable polyester type substance that is reasonably water resistant and very durable. There is a large inner pocket with two dividers, a front pocket for accessories (could easily fit diaries, memory cards etc.) and a rear pocket (not shown in pictures) for thin and small books.
Because the dividers are held in with Velcro, you COULD take them out and use the case as a small laptop holder. But it would have to be a small laptop, no more than 11' screen - so really netbooks only.
I also use this case to carry all the cables and chargers for my camera also, it really is very big. The interior of the case is lined with a firm, yet padded material which I think is very adequate for the protection of my camera.
I think this case could really fit a Nikon (or Canon - if you dare) camera no bigger than a D90.
Overall, I love this case, and know it will last for years, thanks Nikon.

Don't purchase if you own a Nikon D90
Purchased this case specifically for the size and what appeared to be a sturdy case for a 2 week honeymoon (Purchased in March '09). I liked how the nikon badge was very discreet & was very happy when it arrived feeling that it would securely carry my camera with all the extra bits.

Within these two weeks, the shoulder pad had virtually come loose of the strap (poor stitching) and the polyester fitting around the two metal hooks had also come loose.

No additional weight occupied the case other than a Nikon D90 with the lens kit. This is definitely not built to last more than a month of reasonable use!

For approx £40 you'd have thought it would be better quality :-(
