Does the job but has a flimsy base4
Ok so I bought this to relocate the 3 antennas for my Edimax N card. The cable length is enough, could be a bit longer but it's almost a metre so does the job. The plastic unit itself has quite a flimsy base if you're intending to wall-mount it. The cabling is good quality and for the price I think it's a very reasonable product. So far it is the only such product I could find for this price bracket and is well worth it to find the ideal position for your wireless antennas. Currently have "Weak" signal from approx 200 metres away and through 5 walls + across a yard, signal never drops out and I have never had problems from the network since installing this.

    Makes such a difference5
I bought this to go with a BR-6574N WiFi router, also from Edimax. Having not heard of the company before I was unsure what to expect but I have been using them for a week now and the results have been excellent. (I've reviewed the router separately.)

The cable on this could do with being a bit longer. I use mine to move the antenna from the router in one room through a block wall into the hallway in the centre of my house. The antenna are arranged in a 'three finger' pattern each 45 degrees from the other, and it is located near the top of the wall. With the router set to use b+g+n mixed mode I can get 148Mbps from any location in my house and in the garden it only drops down to 75Mbps. Without this item and the router just sitting on the desk the signal in the house varies quite a bit and didn't exceed 100Mbps anywhere. With the router set to use n mode only I can get 300Mbps strongly from every room in the house I tested.

With Wifi antenna location is everything, particularly in a busy house where there are lots of other wireless devices introducing noise all over the place. This products lets you move the antenna into the best location.

FYI: The item I received was black.

great little box and saved me £'s on a new router5
The product works, before I was getting 2 bars max on my wireless connection and now with this handy bit of kit I get full 5 bars.
