Great shoes, man. Great shoes.
Very well styled and good quality shoe.

The upper is made of very durable suede (although there is a leather version). The crepe sole is durable too, and so it should be given the £70-plus price tag.

It's kind of halfway between a moccasin style and more of a mod type of shoe: understated classic British style.

The shoes are supplied with cotton laces that can get very difficult to undo after walking in rainy conditions. I'd suggest replacing the supplied laces with ones that are either made of viscose or polycotton mix.

All in all, well worth the money. Mine are over 18 months old, and the stitching on the upper hasn't even hinted that it's about to give, whereas other makes of shoe (not naming any here though, or mentioning their swoosh logo) have often burst at the toe after a short while.

Talking of 'short' - if you're a touch on the under-tall side (like I am), these shoes add a good inch to your height. Always a bonus, although be warned, the taller you are the sooner you get wet when it rains.

Ace shoe - great buy. Thoroughly recommended.
