Customer Reviews
Great camera! Buy it!
I don't normally write reviews but when I saw that no one had posted a review for this camera I thought I'd share my opinions... Firstly I'm no camera expert and I just wanted something that was an easy to use point and shoot, and I'm so happy that I brought this camera. If you want a camera for general use when you're out and about then this is totally what you need, you don't need to worry about changing settings or reading the manual because there's this BS button which is a total life saver; it allows you to choose what type of shot you want (portrait, action, night, pets, passport - there's loads!!!). The menu is great and easy to navigate through. The screen is super indoors and outdoors (you probably want to get a screen protector just to avoid scratching it) and it displays the photos really well. The photos look amazing when you transfer them to your computer. And the build quality is great. Basically if you want a no-brainer camera then get this one, you will not be disappointed!!!
(PS Just make sure you get a case for it, there isn't one supplied.)
Easy to use
If you want an easy camera to use, this is one. It has 'Easy Shot' for those who want to let the camera do the thinking, or just chop and change between flash types, and light settings and just play.
The optical zoom is great and produces clear pictures. Theres a digital zoom on top of that, and although the screen's view is a little 'grainy', actual pictures always pleasantly suprise me.
I'm a florist, and through using it for a couple of months, the camera is great at close up detail on macro, aswell as Large Arrangements from a distance, and still be aable to pick out every flower. On the other hand i took it to the seaside, and equally got good results, even with the british weather.
ex-1080 review
Over the last decade I have owned around 15 digital cameras and I have to say this is the best one yet. In my opinion the Casio is the best midrange camera you could buy (and I'm not a Casio bigot, all my previous cameras were samsung, kodak or cannon).
What won it for me was not simply the massive 10.1 megapixel image (although that was an extra special bonus :)..but the overall quality and sheen to the product.
Pros:
- Big SLR-type sensor
- 10.1 mp crisp, sharp noise free images with NO compression artifacts!
- Hi Rez (proper) widescreen h.264 super sharp 25 frames per sec video recording (which is great for pal conversions)
- Tiny Form Factor. Did not bulge my pocket what so ever.
- Tons of easy to use modes "Best Shot".
- Long battery life...300+ shots.
- Takes SD HC Cards.. My 8gig can take 1300 10 mp shots or 300 mins Super DVD quality video.
And the best thing about it is the price (and Im not talking about amazon ;) ..
Cons: No case (beggers cant be choosers)
Flakey charger (theres always amazon accessories)
