CD Description
Originally released in 1987 'Bad' was the third Epic album from Michael Jackson which followed 1979's 'Off The Wall' and 1982's 'Thriller'. Moving away from soul and expanding hissound to incorporate rock and dance elements, 'Bad' managedto spawn five top ten hits including the title track alongside 'Dirty Diana', 'The Way You Make Me Feel', 'Smooth Criminal' and his third solo number one 'I Just Can't Stop LovingYou'.
Customer Reviews
You`ve been hit by a smooth criminal
This album is completely, a 110%, fantastic. Every song on here is brilliant. Speed demon, bad and smooth criminal are great funky songs to dance to. Bad is probably my favorite MJ single of all time, you can`t listen to Bad without spouting, "WHO'S BAD." If you want classic MJ music, this is it! I love this album it is impossible to grow tired of it. This is one album that will never be collecting dust on your shelf. Top marks for every track! MJ rocks!
You should already own this! Buy it now!
Of the eleven tracks on Bad, nine were released as singles. That says more about the quality of this album than anything else I can write! People who don't look closely enough think MJ's music doesn't evolve, but this is a real step away from Thriller. Geared much more towards pop and rock, this is seen by most fans as being his "whitest" album. It's wonderfully tune-driven; there's no way any human being can listen to The Way You Make Me Feel without tapping their feet. Smooth Criminal, Leave Me Alone, Dirty Diana and Man in the Mirror are some of the best pop songs ever written. This is my third favourite of his albums and it still gets five stars! This guy is a genius, you need to own this album!
Thumbs up!
Released in 1988 Michael knew the expectations from Thriller. Becoming the second best seller ever 'Bad' was and still is a hit. Song after song is just simply fantastic. Entering into the Guiness Book of records for 'more number ones than any other single album' Michaels achivements are just outstanding. It is the sort of album that is best with the volume up and a dance floor ready or a decent car stereo and the windows down. Smooth Criminal is simply superb and Man in the Mirror is unbeatable. Check this out, you won't be dissapointed!
