Wow what a series!
This is British television at it's best. I thoroughly enjoyed it and cried at every episode it was so poignant even my hubby thought it was brilliant. Martin Clunes is superb such a contrast to Doc Martin as he is such a great guy in this, not at all grumpy. Shows what a versatile actor he is.
I throughly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a true to life story.

Simply superb
A brilliant script which focuses more on characters than plot makes this one of the best series ever to have appeared on television. Martin Clunes and Julie Graham work perfectly together and are ably supported by a team of fine actors. It more than deserves the top BAFTA award. Don't miss it!
