Channel 4 have just picked this up. I'm a big fan of the books its based on -- a telepathic waitress in small town Louisiana lives in a world where vampires have come out. Fantastic murder mysteries!

This show is Fantastic! (Yes with a captial 'F'). A serialisation of the Terminator films, an excellent cast and story arcs. Sadly cancelled, but it finishes in a satisfying way.

Smallville has gotten better over it's eight season run. The addition of the beautiful Lois Lane in season four, and Jimmy Olsen in season six has enhanced the series immensely. Season eight rocks!

The name initially put me off, but this show is excellent. It's a compelling reimagined version of the original. It's a drama before it's a sci-fi show.

I usually hate hospital dramas but this show is well acted, funny and has a very cynical lead, all good stuff.

Smart, witty, and incredibly dark. It's a noir show for modern audiences. Hailed by the critics; fans of the show include Joss Whedon and Stephen King.

Often dismissed by its name and premise. Buffy changed the face of episodic television and transcended genre to tell stories using monsters as metaphor. Sharp dialogue, compelling viewing.
