Product Description

Have you ever missed out on a job or promotion because you didn’t make a positive impression? Would you like to be able to influence people and assert yourself more confidently? Do people remember your colleagues but forget you?

Achieving what you want in life depends largely on the impact you have on others. You only get one first impression, but in today’s world, people are so busy and distracted that it’s harder than ever to make a real impact on someone’s life. Personal Impact tells you everything you need to know to be able to connect with people quickly, easily and powerfully. This book is packed with practical hints and tips that you can put to use immediately, including:

• how to harness your body language to convey authority

• how to handle nerves on big occasions

• how to make yourself instantly likeable

• how to master the art of persuasion.

There’s also a wealth of advice on what to avoid – such as carrying bags into an interview or failing to make eye contact when giving a presentation. Remember, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

MAKE AN IMPACT.

Customer Reviews

Personal IMPACT does make a difference!!!5
I read this book over Christmas and found myself on every page, and can now dip in and out of it; as a really good reference material to remind myself of many solutions and of the advice readily available for every problems.. a good buy and an easy read.

Improve your personal impact5
Quite simply this is one of the best bookks I have ever read. Each page contains concise easy to understand information that when used(learnt) will allow you to master and improve your own personal impact. Throughout the book the subject is outlined to the reader in easy to understand plain simple engilsh with key points highlighted and exercises included to enforce the points. The best part of the book however is that the author manages to convey this in a friendly easy to understand style which helps the reader a lot. From chapter 1 I have been using the methods outlined and my personal impact has improved. In fact I know a lot more people are now more comfortable in my company. Personal Impact has changed my life for the better.

A good reference...3
A good reference would be a correct description but there are better books out there. For anyone who has read books on NLP, life coaching etc, this one will feel quite basic. Have a read inside but I felt I was covering old ground and that the authors had read the books I'd read and then cobbled it all together. I think it's a good starting place for self-improvement but, just be aware, there are better texts out there.
