Isabel Losada gets better and better
I Bought this book when it was released a few months ago and read it from cover to cover in one sitting, and now I am reading it again and savouring the style and humour. I can best describe this book by saying that I wish I had read it thirty years ago! It should be compulsory reading for anyone embarking on a relationship, or anyone in a relationship, anyone who has just finished a relationship, or even anyone who has no interest in relationships. In fact, anyone over the age of sixteen should be made to read "MEN" and take an exam in it before being allowed to even meet members of the opposite sex! Isabel just seems to be able to spell out the issues that emerge between men and women, and to do so in a fun way while at the same time being informative and inspiring. I am a great fan of Isabel's writing, and I eagerly await the companion volume which must surely be called "WOMEN".
If you are a man, you cannot even begin to leave the safety of your own home before you have armed yourself with a copy of this book. If you are a woman, the book will do exactly what is says on the cover -- it will explain where the men have got to. Buy it, it may well save your life!

Mix of styles
This book isn't a self help book but it's also not just a story. Isabel uses her own story to explore the whole issue of the status quo between the sexes in 2007 and where men are as a sex today. She covers lots of different subject areas while telling her story sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes informative. Very creatively put together and ultimately a very brave book.

A must for women and men - whatever your age!
I have just finished Men!, having randomly picked it up at a bookshop three days ago and haven't been able to put it down since!
From the opening chapter, this fabulous book had me laughing out loud through understanding and recognition. Men! is a must for any female (or male) who is going, who ever has gone, or whoever may go through the perils of the great search for an interesting and available member of the opposite/same sex. Yes, Isabel's search focuses on the male of the species but her insight, experiences and sheer wit mean this book has something for everyone.
Laughter. Empathy. Understanding. Frustration. Hope. All these emotions, and more, I felt on reading Men!. It has made me reassess my own stance on the 'great search'. There are other, undoubtedly way more interesting, things I could be doing with my Saturday evenings than choosing to stay at home bemoaning the fact I never meet decent men in pubs and clubs. I am off to find those more interesting things to do. And if I should happen to find myself an interesting and available man while I'm at it...all the better says I!
Pro-activity here I come!
