Better than the standard size head
Was told about this 'mini head' by my hygenist. Smaller head is easier to move around the mouth and any gaps between teeth. Works better as the sonic energy seems more concentrated in the smaller size head, also the resonant frequency of the smaller mass seems to cause it to vibrate more than the larger head - for example if you just turn the brush on you can actually see how much the head bristles move. I know that a sonic brush by its nature should work by a scrubbing action so fast that you shouldn't be able to see it, what I'm trying to emphasise here is that it actually looks and feels like the mini head works harder. Downside may be that the bristles wear out quicker, maybe change every four months rather than six. Time will tell.

Good for uneven teeth
I have always used the standard sized heads in the past so it was a surprise to see just how small these were. However, I have very uneven teeth and this small size has proved perfect for getting into some of the tight spaces. I do have to make more of a concious effort to make sure the gums are included in the clean but I'm very satisfied with the results. For those who are lucky enough to have film star straight teeth the standard size is a far better option.

Mini Toothbrush Heads :-)
These are much better than the standard size brush which, due to having a small mouth, can't get to all the surfaces of my teeth.

They are perfect, only disappointment is they are quite difficult to find and sooo expensive!
