Really lovely with sweet youthful voices.
This version is absolutely splendid and a total bargain as it is the full 3 CD version. Soile Isokoski and Monica Groop are beautifully matched as Fiordiligli and Dorabella using the right touch of comedy to deliver numbers like 'Di scrivermi ogni giorno'. They have young, sweet voices which perfectly portray those slightly 'precieuse' young ladies. Huub Claessens exudes suave charm as Don Alfonso. Nancy Argenta portrays the mischievious, worldy-wise maid Despina while Markus Schaeffer and Per Vollestad combine comedy, ardour and sorrow just when it is needed.
