TOP QUALITY RWD RALLYING5
GREAT MEMORIES OF THE GLORY DAYS OF RALLYING, FORD RWD ESCORTS, LANCIA, FIAT, DATSUN, THE PIONEERS OF THE MODERN RALLY SCENE, BEFORE THE DAYS OF TECH COMPUTERS ETC. GREAT FOOTAGE, GOOD NARRATION FROM STEVE RIDER, LONG RUNNING TIME AND ON THE WHOLE GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. WON'T DISSAPOINT.

Good DVD for rally fans4
This is a very good DVD. Footage quality is nice and diverse. Most os the shots came from the RAC rally but shouldn't be easy to find some pics from many rally events. Many onboard shots to realize how was driving a car like those.

Sound quality is also good and coments are smart. I miss some driver's comment from now, like Waldegaard telling now stories from the past.

There's a lack of information and statistics and too much focus over British cars and drivers. Tony Pond wasn't any on rallying compared with Rorhl or Munari.

I recommend it, to be perfect I would add more info, statistics and less "rule britannia".

Informative, Entertaining and Highly Repeatable4
As you would expect - if you are a connoisseur of rally films - this BHP produced compilation is great. If anything, the 70s film is better than the 80s one, but that might be personal preference.

Good film work, great editing and a very informative and never dull commentary from Steve Rider helps bring back memories of World of Sport British Open Rally Championship reports as well as act as a nice, repeatable, slice of nostalgia for when rallying was fun and photogenic.
