Excellent mon-on-the-street physics
Anyone with the most basic GCSE physics can grasp the mind blowing concepts in this book, and that is one of its strengths. Using analogy in the place of mathematics, the book presetns the latest developments in quantum mechanics, relativity, and everything else which usually gets yawns, in an interesting and detailed manner. A great buy!

In the beginning, there were 2 universes...
Other Worlds is a fantastic book. It doesn't defy logic..that's the strange thing. It goes by the laws of physics and maths and explains how membrane universes, wormholes and time travel is possible. Mr. Davies writes fantastic articles on the universe in New Scientist magazine and this book is amazing. His new book 'How to build a Time Machine' should be very good.
