Romance in the 21st Century!3
Can't remember how this book found its way onto my bookshelf, as its title and jacket design/colours shout very loudly to the 21-35's and it was many moons ago that I saw 35!! Anyway, I decided to give it a go, expecting to give-up after a chapter or two, BUT it was like a breath of fresh air, with just a couple of places in the novel that I found irritating. I found myself enjoying reading of the antics of 20-something Lindy Usher and was quite able to identify with many of her feelings, even though those feelings are now but fond memories! The four ...ions: Temptation, Infatuation, Passion & Deception have always been the ingredients for trouble and will continue to be as long as man exists.

Kept my attention...4
This book kept my attention all the way through, it was funny in parts, sad in others, but utterly enjoyable throughout. I found the story semi-realistic, not too unbelievable and I wanted to know what was going to happen at the end, which is always a plus.
Hopefully she will just improve her writing as she does more books, I'm willing to read her next offering anyway.

Excellent!5
The thing I've got to say before I start is that this is high quality chick lit! It doesn't follow the usual predictable formula, and I like that!

The book starts at a press conference where the main character, Lindy Usher, is doing a photoshoot. Her eyes meet with a man on the other side of the room and they feel 'The Connection'. Before long, they are drunk, and are kissing passionately outside. Lindy would like things to go further, but there's just one problem. The husband.

It's not like Lindy has an unhappy marriage to her husband, Andrew, who she met on a ski holiday. It's just that he's not exciting enough anymore. Besides, he was the one who seduced her, and he's a Kind Man (something that Lindy's not used to).

When Lindy decides that she would like a new job (her current one is going nowhere) she triggers a chain of events that leads her to meet her oldest ex-friend - Natalie. They went through school together, but fell out over a boy, as teenage girls do. Now she's successful, Lindy needs to organise a photo shoot. Surprisingly, she agrees to come back to England, with her irresistable fiancee Max in tow.

As the past events are explained, Lindy finds her life changing in a way she never knew it could - and all because of some lip kisses. Can she stay with her husband? Is Natalie still cunning like she was? And can she resist the charms of the sexy Max?
