Real Carrot
During a long life I have read many books that purport to be guides to mystical experience, but non-has the practical value of ‘No Carrot’ by David Ferguson. Drawing on his study of Zen he refines the essential understanding needed to approach our reality.
David challenges all our beliefs and leads us to the essential problem. We all have the illusion of a separate identity. That is, we believe that we are in charge of our life. A seeker who follows David’s suggestions with persistence and patience is bound to realise the truth.

If you are fed up with gurus, read this
A great book about meditation, truth, mysticism.... and a radical approach to Zen. This stands in a tradition of sweeping away the cob webs, disregarding convention to clear the way for an understanding unencumbered by conditioning of established religion. An example and a guide.

the koan of life in action
For the serious student of zen this book will take you right to it - but where is 'it', and 'who' is seeking? This book takes you to the heart of those issues. Challenging, thought provoking, and possibly ahead of it's time - well worth reading.
