My son...5
My son Alexander 13 months picked up this book at a kiosk at Kennedy Airport while I was browsing the store, it was at his buggy level. Upon seeing what he had in his hand I decided to buy the book. He died of a sudden cot death less than two months later. I had just read this book and cannot describe what comfort it gave my husband and myself. It is now 13 years later, I have never forgotten the wonderful message in this book, particularly the "people in brown coats" . Learn to notice them in your life and it will never be the same again !

A book about an enlightening Near-Death experience5
I liked this book! It's well-written and easy to read. The author writes about her enlightening Near-Death experience, which I think suits the gnostic ways of thinking. The veil of forgetfullness, Jesus' light as knowledge, power of thinking, spirit to communicate with God, only love matters eventually etc... The Earth is seen as a place of spiritual education. -Though, I don't really appreciate the attitudes towards adapting to earthly churches and defective governing myself.

Mocking God1
This book appears to be a Christian book and I was asked to read it by another Christian friend to help her advise a new Christian who was completely taken in by this book. Most of what is written in this book is not scripture-based. Nowhere in the bible does it tell us that we were spirits before we were created as human beings. Neither does the bible tell us that we can determine when we are born and how long we will live and how we will die. God determines all these things. As Christians we are taught not to delve into the spirit world - as what appears to be good spirits are actually evil spirits posing as good spirits. The lack of scriptural references in this book proves that the book is not written in a way that it is backed up by scripture - rather it is completely the opposite. I would strongly advise anyone who is considering becoming a Christian NOT to read this book - as a Christian it has caused me great concern that someone is using God's name to write a book that does not give Him his proper place - as the one who is in control of our lives. What is written in Revelation about heaven and Christ's second coming is all that we need to know - otherwise the bible would have written more about it. The important thing is that we repent of our sins and serve God and put Him first in our lives - only then can we be assured of a place in heaven when we die.
