Customer Reviews

OK, but could have been much better3
Norton seems to have been yet another of those great firms whose products and viability were ruined by management and government ineptitude, greed and ignorance.

As a history of the Norton company and some of its key motorcycles, this is OK and has some nice footage and interesting history.

However, the script/narration jumps all over the place, even between decades in the same segment and this gives the prgram a disjointed feel.

The biggest problem with this DVD is that there is almost no mention of the legendary "Manx Norton", easily one of the most famous motorbikes of all time, or, for that matter, Norton's rich racing heritage and history.

Instead, the racing aspects of the story focus on rather dull footage of the 500cc trials bike puddling along in the mud when we could be looking at Geoff Duke at the Isle of Man.

Good value, but.
