Customer Reviews
WWE at its best
Fantastic game, one of the best wrestling games I've tried. Excellent game play and am improvement in the controls over wrestling games of yesteryear.
Almost everyone is here from the current roster (with a few unlockables when you get deeper into the game) and you can change weather they are heels/favourites and Brands if you want to keep up with current storylines.
The create features are excellent and even if like me you were not bothered by it going in there's enough to entertain.
The Royal Rumble match is worth the game alone, so many improvements so many ways to go out and be eliminated. You can eliminate from whipping people into the turnbuckle, when they try to come back in under the ropes, when they are trying to eliminate someone else, on the apron and even with your finisher (i.e. with Shaun Michaels sweet chin music sends them over).
Other favourite modes include the championship scrambles which are brutal as they are no disqualification. Career mode allows you to climb the rankings and there are plenty of storylines from brand rivalry to the road to wrestlemania.
Definitely one of the best games and so much to get out of it yet, its very playable and with all the modes to go through its definitely going to last the most ardent gamer some time.
STOP!
Please stop reviewing games that have not yet been released. I understand the irony that I have to post a review to tell you idiots this, but please don't.
Dead End Bug?
It seems like I encountered a little bug that prevents me from finishing the Storymode early on. In the Royal Rumble match in the CAW Storyline my PS 3 froze three times in a row at the exact same point. I stopped trying after three because I don't think that these resets are all that great for my console. Keep in mind there's a chance that it's only my copy but all I know is that I can't keep playing because the system crashes at a certain point.
