V3 - best I've ever had!
Got my V3 18 months ago and in that time it has been bashed about in my handbag, dropped on stairs, on the dance floor, on the concrete cellar at work and been for a swim in the washing machine (yes I am rather careless) and believe it or not, its not that scratched and although the battery dies quicker than it used to, old faithful still works! I like all the features I have on it (ok, not now the most technically advanced, but does what I want it to do), easy to use, good looking and the most "loyal" phone I've had. Despite all the torture I've suffered on it, its still working and it hasn't played up! Brilliant phone.
MOTOROLA v3
I bought the phone for my wife about 18 months ago. While it is not the most technically advanced it does everything most people need very well. Battery life is good, texting is good when you get used to it. The phone look stylish and the cost is perfect, you could easily pay alot more and get a similar phone. I am about to buy another for me, I advice you shop around as prices vary.
Very Impressive
My wife bought me this phone for my birthday and I have been very impressed with it. It is very slimline, this is important to me when wearing a suit or a lightweight jacket. I also like the style of the phone, folding over to cover up the key pad. The software is fairly easy to guide yourself through and a lot of the icons are self explanatory which is a big help. Also the manual is very comprehensive and easy to understand. The camera is adequate as long as you bear in mind that the equipment is essentially a phone and not a camera, although the extra facility is nice.
The only problem I had when I first got this style of phone is that occasionally (and annoyingly) I sometimes cut myself off by allowing my fingers to wrap too far round the phone while I was taking or making a call. The touch sensitive keypad is just that, sensitive and wandering fingers can cause you to cut yourself off. But I soon got used to the idea of keeping my fingers on the edge of the phone rather than wrapping them around it.
All in all a classy looking piece of kit and more importantly, to me anyway, it works.
