Wrong Voltage!
Purchased for a Nuvi 765 - This charger is 100-240V input and 12V output.

The 12V car adaptor contains electronics to drop the voltage to 5V - connecting directly to a USB port on a PC provides 5V and the mains charger should have an output of 5V.

Do not use this charger - It's the wrong one!

Good item, but...
Does what it says on the tin, but I expected the led light to go out when the sat-nav was fully charged, which it didn't so I had no idea when it was done. The Garmin doesn't tell you either! if the charging circuit is able to recognise a fully charged battery and turn off to protect the battery, why doesn't it turn off the LED too?
