Jabra BT 250V - A crackly bit of kit
I've owned a few headsets and opted for this one as I read good and bad - and hoped for the money my experience would be good...well it's not.
Personally I found it bigger than I expected, fiddly to fit (as it's larger than I expected the arm over the ear is thicker than I imagined), the piece that goes in your ear is fiddly but all this I could have lived it...it's the noisy crackly interference that's the pain and leaves me with my option but to award ONE star (it either works or it doesn't). I use a Nokia 6021 and when I listen to callers there is very frequent noise interference (every fouth or fifth word on a bad day)- a crackly type noise making conversation impossible.
I now found myself having my phone on loud speaker which defeats the object, sorry Jabby but you're going back!
DON'T BOTHER
I purchased the Jabra BT250v Headset a few months ago. It was easy to set up and was quite comfortable.
However, the headset stopped working after two months. Therefore, I contacted Jabra who sent me a list of instructions that required "resetting" the headset and "resetting" my phone (i.e. taking the battery out). This fixed the problem for two weeks until it broke again. I have been trying to contact Jabra and get some kind of response from them for over two weeks and have heard nothing. I have come to the conclusion that they are happy to sell you stuff but aren't interested if it breaks and they may have to fix/replace the item.
Therefore, if you want to take the risk of buying this headset assuming it will work continuously, then do so. However, if you are even slightly concerned that it may break, don't buy any Jabra product because they will not give you any support and you will have lost your money and headset.
Great for the PS3
I was looking around for a bluetooth headset for the PS3 and after looking at this and several others I decided to pick this one and I am glad that I did. Setting it up is easy, just charge it and register it, simple as that. Clear sound, sleek design and good price.
