Value For Money4
This is my third, and most expensive, bluetooth headset. I did try 2 cheaper models, and I found that their sound quality and comfort levels failed to impress me.

However, saying that, I didn't choose the Nokia BH-600 because of its expense. I decided to try it simply because my phone is a Nokia and I had read some good reviews about it.

Now, for the bit you are interested in. I find that out of all the headsets I've had, this is the most comfortable. It is also fairly light. The ear hook is not as hard as some models, which I like. I must state that I don't wear my headset all day. I only wear it when I'm on a call, so the longest I've had it on has been a couple of hours, and during that time, my ear didn't feel at all. You do have to fiddle with the ear hook for about 15-30 seconds to make sure that it is secure, otherwise it can come loose. Once, you have done this though, it stays on pretty well, even if you do something as active as jogging.

I find the sound quality on my side of the conversation, is on the whole, excellent. I will occasionally get an echo or a bit of static, but it only lasts for a couple of seconds. However, if I get more than 15 feet away from the phone, then the static becomes continuous. It isn't too loud, so you can still hear the person on the other side clearly, but it is annoying.

Everyone I've spoken to says that I sound like I'm in an indoor swimming pool: apparently it sounds as though there are waves gently lapping in the background. They have also said that after about 5 minutes, they no longer notice the sound.

I switch my headset off when I go to bed, but other than that it is on all day. I don't use my phone everyday. I probably get 3-4 hours talktime spread over 7-10 days before I need to charge the headset again. The headset charges in 2 hours and the indicator light goes off to let you know that the battery has fully charged. The indicator light starts to flash rapidly to let you know when the battery is going flat. Also, if you are on the phone and the battery is low, you will hear two beeps every two minutes, so you won't be cut off mid-conversation.

I love the look of this headset. Very sleek. The main function button is also easy to use. My only complaint is that I find the volume buttons a bit fiddily and hard to find. Therefore, I use the volume buttons on my phone. Maybe I can do this because my phone is a Nokia. If I couldn't, maybe I would try a bit harder to get to grips with them, but I decided to use the lazy option!

Unlike the other headsets I've tried, the light on this phone flashes a light green colour and it quite discreet. I found some of the other headsets distracting, so I think this is a positive feature.

Finally, I had no problem pairing this headset to my phone. It has occasionally disconnected (never during a conversation I hasten to add), but my phone managed to 'find' the headset after about 5 seconds. I have tested the maximum distance I can get from my phone before the headset loses the connection, and it is about 30 feet.

To conclude, I think for £20 this headset is definitely value for money.
