Good quality, well designed and extremely good value
Needed to replace a cheap, ill-fitting silicon case, and this seems far superior, despite being only a little more expensive. As stated the material is hard but silky to touch. The two halves fit snugly and give precise access to all the buttons/features.

The screen protector also fits and functions well, however I'm withholding a star because, even having read the instructions carefully, I found it difficult to apply without getting dust and tiny air bubbles underneath, meaning I will probably need to buy another.

Get what you pay for
Having read the previous reviews I decided to go ahead and purchase one as it seemed like good value. However if you are looking for a case that will compliment the sleek looks of the 5800 then do not buy this product.

Whilst the shell is functional and offers a degree of protection it just looks cheap. The 5 clips where the 2 parts join together, stick out and ruin the aesthetic of the phone. It is also quite difficult to access the 3 main buttons at the foot of the phone as the die cut is not a perfect a fit. Although it is centered you need to allow a greater distance at the bottom to allow for your thumb to press down.

The screen protector did not lay flat despite trying to carefully place it over the screen. It showed creases at the edges although these to be fair are then covered by the case.

If you are looking for a case that will protect your phone if you drop it, then I am sure this will be ok but if you are looking for something stylish and functional then forget it.

*EDIT* 3 of the clips broke after 1 month - NO LONGER RECOMMENDED - Have now got a flexible silicone protector.
original review was: I wanted a good protector case and screen protector for my new Nokia 5800 that had a rubbery type of finish. Had a good hunt and decided to buy this one. Delivery was excellent and fitting the screen protector was easy. I didn't have any problems like some reviewers commented on. I'm pleased with the case. It is robust but has a nice silky rubberised finish to it. All the buttons are easily accessible and the stylus also works through the screen protector. I don't mind the small clips on the outside and I don't believe it detracts from the aesthetics of the phone (which isn't exactly slimline to start with) and I'm a real pedantic person. For the money you can't go wrong.
