Excellent info5
This book taught and gave a lot of practical advice on how to network effectively.

Thought networking wasnt for you? Think again...5
I recently attended my first networking event and I am so glad I read this beforehand. My initial plan was to get in there and give out as many business cards as possible, I had not even thought how I might approach people. However after reading this book which is I might add, a simple easy read guide that doesnt 'dumb it down' but just gives you the information you need. At the event (following guidance from book) I made eye contact, smiled through my nerves, shook hands with the right people, made interesting conversation, started to build relationships, handed out only a few cards but learned alot about other people and how we could help each other. I am now filling in my contact list and plan to follow up all leads with a hand written note...buy this book if you want to learn how to succeed in business through building solid relationships and useful contacts.

Good basic guide to networking4
If networking is a new and terrifying book, then this will be a great little guide for you. If you already spend quite a lot of your time networking, then you may pick up a few tips (e.g. I now scribble notes on people I've met on the backs of their business cards and diligently write up notes on people when I get home or back to the office).
