Absolutely Amazing !
Being a Mod in the late 70's and early 80's and being totally into bands like The Chords I was really pleased to see this CD in your shop. I ordered it and put it on as soon as it came through the post and I have played it to death ever since. I had forgotten just how many hits this band actually had and found myself transported through time to happy, laughter, music filled days with scooters and parkas etc. My favourite tracks on this CD are Maybe Tomorrow, So Far Away, The Brittish Way of Life, In My Street and Somethings Missing! Listening to this CD puts a smile on my face (a rareity these days, being a much harrassed mother of three)and for this I am truly thankfull. I also noted that there is a Chords web page which I am a frequent visitor to and the band are touring still so with any luck I will be seeing the guys soon. Keep on making us old mods happy ! Thanks......Linda Connelly
I love it still
I just wish that other lovers of guitar pop would listen to this cd. The Chords produced some great sounds and yet they were ignored by so many. Listen to Maybe Tomorrow and Something' Missing and enjoy the power of The Chords. They deserved to be more appreciated. Now they are So Far Away. So sad!
The top London mod band
A real earthy and gritty production, encapsulating the moment and their time perfectly.
