AMAZING!
This is one of the best Sims 2 Expansion Packs there are. I am a sims 2 collector and have the majority of the expansion packs, and i also used to buy all the original Sims as well. The changing seasons make the game 100x more realistic, making the game more fun. Different seasons bring different bonuses (e.g. autumn speeds up acquiring skills.
I would definitely recommend others to buy this game NOW!
Interesting and helpful in between the mistakes.
I have bought the expansion pack guides for the new sims series since Nightlife and have found them to be very useful in unlocking aspects of the game that aren't covered in the little pamphlets that come in the box including hidden interactions/aims plus a detailed explanation of what each expansion pack brings and how to get the most out of the game if you haven't got the patience to go wading in blindly!
However, I was disappointed with the Seasons addition, a third of the book is taken up by information available in any other guide, and the gardening section is confusing, repetitive and in some places incorrect, I have biro scribblings on several pages where information has been proved by other users to be incorrect or invalid and shared online.
If this is the official guide, then surely EA should give the right information instead of depending on fans to work out the answers?
Other than that, it is very scientific and detailed especially the weather system (mind-boggling is another word for this section), but it does give insights into the expansion and how to get the most out of the game by exploring all the features, giving you a head start instead of wondering why your sims can't get a simple tomato plant to survive.
