An excellent book for a B&B owner
My friend who runs a self catering cottage recommended this book to me. It really is the 'bible' for anyone running a tourism accommodation business. It has helped me review the legislation that applies to me and given me the piece of mind I was looking for. It even includes information in the back about tourism boards and organisation - a vital book in my eyes!

Lots of info
This book had lots of info in it, and seemed a little daunting to start with. We are in Scotland, and some of the info was not pertinent to us. That said, there was more than enough to take in and digest. It is laid out in a practicle way and each chapter can be dealt with one at a time. Note space at end of each chapter was helpful. Has helped us to finalise details, and we are now running our own holiday let cottages (albeit through Scottish Cottages). Hope to be confident enough to break free soon.
