Manufacturer's Description
Brought to you by Ready At Dawn Studios' Daxter is tailor-made for the PSP, capturing all the fun, style, great gameplay and wit of previous Jak and Daxter titles. The story takes us back to the events that led to the start of Jak IITM. Jak has been imprisoned in Haven city jail, Daxter now on his own in an unfamiliar position, quickly realises that being small and furry won't help his chances of survival and it is time to get tough!
Daxter takes on a job as a pest exterminator to help stamp out a mysterious bug infestation, this new job allows Daxter freedom to roam across Haven City collecting information that could lead to the release of his incarcerated friend. However Daxter soon discovers that he'll get a little more excitement from his job than he originally bargained for. Being a pest exterminator is hard work and a work shy Ottsell can't be expected to wipe out an entire infestation without conserving energy with some well timed naps can he?! As Daxter takes time off his bug squashing duties he invites you into his dreams where he is the hero in several playable movie themed mini games.
Daxter also features cross platform compatibility with Jak X on PlayStation 2, allowing gamers who own both titles to unlock new content. With over 17 levels and 13 minutes of hilarious cut scenes, this title is guaranteed to take gamers on a classic platform adventure.

The PSP Game in the Universe
Games like these are few and far between. The Humour is the highest you will ever see on any console. I was laughing so hard I almost had heart attack. The Daxter is excellent character, we all know that JAK never talks. The Gameplay is same from Jak Series , the playing areas are huge and the details is close to Next GEN. The audio and movement is superb. If you want a game that sells this machine . This is it, There is no game better on the PSP. 10 out 10
Great!
I'm quite a beginner at games, but I found this really good fun, I have not yet completed it, but am enjoying every moment of playing it. There are some tricky bits which I got stuck on, but overall it is quite easy. This does not mean it isn't suitable for more experienced players, my brother is an amazing gamer, but he still found it fun and enjoyed playing it. Playing this game has encouraged me to purchase other games like it. I hope this has helped you.
Lets hope they make a sequel to this terrific Jak 2 prequel
This game is terrific! Love it! Downside? There isn't one! Fun, easy controls, brilliant funny little cut scenes and sooooo addictive. I am a HUGE fan of the Rachet & Clank series. I bought their cracking PSP adventure first and yet R&S Size Matters and is currently gathering dust until I finish this game.
Such simple controls and cool little moves, excellent, never slow down graphics and a big game world. Even more enjoyable than the original Jak & Daxter games and thats saying something I can tell you!
Oh bugger, I forgot to charge up my PSP last night and it just ran out of power while I was playing it in my office. Guess I'll have to get some work done now :0(
Lets hope they make a sequel to this terrific Jak 2 prequel ;0)
