Not suitable for ASUS 700 or 701
I bought this and got a bad burning smell from my Asus.
Only to read that it has a 12V output at 3 amp and the original Asus charger has a 9.5V output at 2.315 amp. I suspect that I have ruined my battery now!

Awful
I have bought two of these in the last six months. Last night my last one broke while I was doing some important work on the laptop. I have never writtten a bad review on Amazon before, but I am so furious that I do not wish other people to make the same mistake. I am not careless with my equpment; I cannot afford to be. I can understand one breaking, it may have been a faulty product, but two is just ridiculous. It looks good and sturdy;it is not. There are other battery chargers, take a look at those.

Handy Little Charger
I use this charger for my Asus eee PC 4G with no problems. It's much lighter than the previous travel charger I had, and it's good value for money. It'd be a handy spare even if you've still got your original adaptor.
