Excellent Product
This is an excellent piece of computing hardware. I have previously purchased either desktop PCs or laptops. The Asus Atom Eee Top combines both. My primary reason to purchase this item was to place it in my kitchen to replace an ageing portable portable CRT TV, which was receiving a TV signal via a wireless TV sender, which did not have the best reception and definitely no reception when the microwave was on.
I now connect the Asus Eee Top PC to my homeplug network to stream Sky HD TV content from my Slingbox Pro. The keyboard and mouse supplied, neatly tuck behind the PC. I can confirm that both the TV image and sound are excellent and are no longer interrupted by the operation of the microwave. The touch screen technology allows you to operate the PC efficiently in a Kitchen environment. The inbuilt camera allows you to take internet calls instantly and hands free. We can now access all the other digital media within our home network and surf the internet as well, including watching BBC Iplayer etc. My hope is that the as this technology develops the PCs specs become strong enough to run Windows and Vista and Windows 7.
