If you're studying French A-Level you need this book
Since I started my French course I have been glued to this book- it is my Bible. It completely invaluable as it covers all the topics you need to be familiar with in a lot of useful detail. It also has a section on writing essays in general, with pages of both basic and more sophisticated words and phrases. It's a wise investment which is definitely worth a little over five pounds.

Brilliant Vocab Book
Was very helpful for all the topics I covered, and I found the section in the back containing conclusions and other phrases to use in essays very helpful.

However, I rated it 4 star because I feel some phrases and words were a bit obscure and couldn't possibly see why they are necessary. I'm not sure if there is a vocab specification for A Level and those words had to be included, but if not if it were up to me I'd remove a few. Especially seeing as some sections have multiple words for the same meaning. Overall a good vocab book.

i teach leaving certificate honours french in ireland,i found this book
relevant and really useful.even though i am fluent in french it provided
the correct terminology that the examiners are looking for.
