Manufacturer's Description
Add some wow factor to your kitchen with the Morphy Richards Illuma 43127 kettle, which offers two stunning looks.
At rest, this unique kettle is a stylish mirrored stainless steel kettle but switch it on and the mirrored stainless steel instantly vanishes becoming transparent glass with the water lit by a spectacular blue light.
The 43127 has a concealed 3kW rapid boil element for easy cleaning and descaling, as well as a 1.7 litre capacity. Push button release and a 360 Degree connector for left or right handed use add to the ease of use of this stylish kettle.

Good looking...
If you're after a kettle with a bit of style, this may be the one...
It is has a stainless steel effect (colour) when off, and is see through when the kettle is on, blue lights round the base light it up so you see the water bubling away.
This model (43127) is possibly an improved version of the 43121, as the negative comments given by reviewers for it seem to have been resolved in this version: It's not noisy, boils quickly & switches off quickly, and it has a plastic pouring spout on the glass jug, so it won't crack against the tap.
Only have one small negative point: it has no water level guage, and since you can't see through it, its hard to know how much water is in it.
Works well, looks good. Had it for 4 weeks, no probs.
Disappointed
I bought this kettle because it looked so stylish. But I found it very heavy. The button on the lid needed a very firm press to open it. And as the previous reviewer remarked - there are no water level markers. The pouring spout is wide so it can be difficult to pour water into small cups etc. I took it back and got a refund. I then bought the Breville Spectra (which you can use for 'mood lighting'..!) which is lovely to use as well as look at.
Cool Blue
Needed a kettle that looked good as my last Morphy Richards was very attractive as it had a wood handle and base. Bought this model on strenght of reviews and am rather pleased with it.
Previous reviewers flaws don't exist with me: don't find it heavy at all and the lid isn't a problem. It pours well, boils very fast and if I am honest, the blue LED effect is lovely (when was the last time you watched a kettle boil in the dark).
Had it 4 weeks now and no complaints. Great piece of kit.
