Good blender, but attachments poorly made
We've had this blender for 6 weeks, we were away for Christmas, so it's been used less than 10 times. The first time we used it to mash potato, the result was our mash full of bits of plastic. Last night, we blended some cauliflower (to make soup) & the plastic attachment on the larger chopper bowl has broken. The blender shaft attaches to each unit by a small bit of plastic. Now it's more than 30 days, we're finding it hard to get warranty as Amazon only cover 30 days.

Great products - very bad build quality!!!!!!
This product is really good when it works, it all feels well build and is much better than our old model in way of attachments, the way the attachments attach to the main body is greatly improved as our old ones sometimes fell off.

At first it seemed perfect, every attachment worked very well the whisk whipped quickly, the blender made great sauces and soups, the chopper - well chopped quickly.

But 2 months on, the whisk only makes a grinding sound, the internal gears on this attachment appear to have worn out! No not broken but worn down.
The blender, the shaft that holds the blade has come loose and no longer works.

Unfortunately trying to get it fixed under warranty is impossible, Braun don't want to know, so now I have the choppers left and that's it.

My recommendation is don't buy one, our old one lasted for 4 years but this one less than 2 months.

Great little kitchen gadget
This is probably the best kitchen purchase I've made in the last 12 months. I really don't know what I used to do without it! You drop an onion into the chopper, and ZIP, it's completely chopped! It's also great for grinding Parmesan cheese and making soups or smoothies, and the ice crusher is a stroke of genius!

At 600w, it's more powerful than some lawnmowers and the one I bought almost a year ago is showing no signs of letting up.

This is a truly excellent product that I would highly recommend to anyone.
