Heart Deliver the Goods As Usual5
Heart's essential debut album is an absolute classic, and incase you couldn't guess from the title this DVD is a concert containing a performance of all the songs from it, in the correct running order. The DVD opens up with a short breezy documentary piece about how the album came to be and how it was received at the time, as well as how the concert came to be, after which the band hit the stage.
How does this compare with Heart's other DVDs like 'Alive in Seattle,' or 'Soundstage: Heart live,' you may wonder.
Quite well it must be said; the sound is clear, the camera work is spot on and the editing is good, all you want from a concert DVD aside from the track listing but as previously stated that's taken care of if you're a Dreamboat Annie fan, and to help fill out the concert an encore with the band's classic 'Mistral Wind,' and a few very good Led Zeppelin covers, an incendiary version of 'Love Reign O'er Me,' and a very energetic take on the Pink Floyd classic 'Goodbye Blue Sky.'
The performance of the material is fantastic, Anne still has her amazing voice after all this time and has no trouble recreating the classic material on offer although does seem to either forget or rearrange several of the flute sections on the album. Nancy as usual tears the stage apart, and adds her own underrated voice into the mix to great effect. The rest of the band, put down a solid performance and try pretty hard to stay true to the original performances, with the exception of the odd extra guitar flourish hear and there.
There are a few surprises here and there which I won't spoil and some interesting on stage banter, as well as two bonus songs in the extras section to fill the dvd out a bit. Overall, the performance may seem a little short, but I'd rather have two fewer songs and have every track amazing than have a longer performance at a poorer standard.
In summary, a solid performance of some absolutely classic material well sot and recorded, with some excellent cover numbers thrown in and a short documentary to fill in the gaps. If you like Heart its deffinitly worth getting, though you might want to get one of the other DVDs mentioned too for some variety, especially if you want to hear anything off of the equally classic 'Little Queen,' album.

Rock 'n Roll5
If you love Heart then this is another must buy. Anne's voice is incredible and Nancy rocks with the best of them so what more is there to say? A classic album performed in its entirety as is the current trend, with all tracks given full justice by the sisters. Rock and Roll!! I can also highly recommend Live in Seattle by Heart too.
