Dreadful wishy washy nonsense1
I can't believe how appalling this book is. It's full of airy fairy nonsensical gibberish about getting in the right state of mind (focusing mental x and y on z - patronising meditation) and other such rubbish. It honestly comes across as glaringly sentimental, manipulative, wet nonsense and I truly think it is there to pad out the book. Because let's face it, it's thin enough and costs FAR too much for its limited mumbo jumbo. In fact it reminds me of a Jehova's witness pamphlet - except they're thicker leaflets with possibly more relevant content than this 'mess' they sold me. I had to force myself to read on, as the first few times I had to put it down in disgust.

When it does get down to explaining the main concept in the book, I find that it is simple enough to explain concisely in a page or two. Instead the author pads out the book with lots of large photographs that display the EXACT SAME motions, but with slightly different surroundings. It really is so unbelievably poor. Reiterating the same tired points over and over.

It seems to me that the author is just trying to cash in on the good name of Bruce Lee's infamous inch punch with a sub-standard and blatant attempt at ripping off people who will buy anything to do with Bruce without thinking. After reading the other comments, I think the other reviewers fall into this naive category. They all sound like kids who part with their money far too easily.

I am a wing chun practitioner and although I didn't expect a miracle secret, I seriously thought this pamphlet would at least be an interesting read. To use an American expression, "this book sucks".

I know when I've made a mistake. I want my money back. I felt ripped off, as one might have felt if they sent money away to those "build muscles fast" adverts in 70s comics where the bully kicks sand in the face of a stereotypical 'geek'. I urge anybody out there even considering buying this attempt at a serious publication. Don't.

It takes time5
As with any martial arts it takes time to learn...but once it is achieved it will be a very powerful attack mechanism. There is just more to it than throwing a punch it involves more than just your fist.

The art of the one inch and three inch punch5
The book in its most simplitic form is brilliant!!! But when you come to realise that the author takes the notes from those who created the art and developed it for a long time; the book really illustrates the technique in its full glory. If the ttechnique worked for Bruce Lee and others than it will work for you.

I found the book really fascinating and in-depth, after much reading and observation, I came to realise just how good this book really is. But you must fully understand what is said in the book before you can practice and see the results for yourself. It really does work and gives you detailed look at the technique.
