An excellent book that'll keep you going for years
I had bought 2 books on kettlebells by Pavel Tsoutaline, before I received this book. Now both of those gather dust on the bookshelves whilst I use the Kettle Bell Bible as a constant reference.
Full of exercises, different methods of training and arranging training, and other ideas it is a brain dump by the authors.
The only qualification is the binding which is ring bound so I wonder how long it will last, but it does mean the book will lay flat easily.
lots of quality info
Initially i was reluctant to make this purchase due to the cost, but having owned my kettlebells for a few weeks i decided i needed some basic information.
Not a lot of literature or training videos on kettlebells exist in the UK at the moment, i believe this will change soon and that kettlebells will be the next fitness craze to sweep the nation. When this happens i'm sure the price will drop, but until that happens this is buy far the best buy, due to its size and content.
The book covers all aspects of kettlebell training, including strength, endurance, flexibility and fat loss. Also their are comprehensive sections on safety and the history of kettlebell training.
In summary this is the best value for money currently available, it covers all aspects of kettlebell training including programme design, periodisation and safety.
If you are only going to buy one book on kettlebells this should be it, as the others seem to be incomplete.
a kettlebell master class
like the other reviewer i bought tsatsoulines books well they are not a patch on this. The authors are factual with good routines ,and descriptions of the exercises plus some of the science surrounding various training techniques. All in all a great book for any person wanting to get functionally strong and fit
