Customer Reviews
This is not a *diet* book
This isn't a diet, per se; it's more of a guide to sensible eating. There isn't any need to measure calories, fat or portion size. By choosing particular foods, you'll be eating the right vitamins and nutrients automatically, and because you'll be consuming foods that provide the fuel that your body needs, you won't overeat. Rather, you'll stop when your body has taken in enough. It really is easy to follow and - more importantly - it works.
I tried Weightwatchers and had some success with the plan, but I was almost always hungry even though I'd eaten all that I was "allowed" for that day. With the Abs Diet, I can eat when I'm hungry (hunger is your body's signal that it needs fuel) and not put on excess fat. Whilst this book concentrates on food and nutrition, it correctly points out that real success can only be achieved with a complementary excercise regime.
Eat Right Every Time is easy to read, which makes it easy to remember. Although it was originally written for the US market, it's been adapted for a UK audience.
Good price
It's a good follow up to the first book (the Abs Diet), particularly when considering the price of it. It's a handy little reference that will help you stay on track. I have found some repetitions from the first book but that's OK with this low price. I think that both Abs Diet books will be very well supplemented by "Can We Live 150" by Dr. M. Tombak. It is absolutely essential item for anyone interested in healthy lifestyle.
no nonsense
a book thats very easy to digest(!)and no waffle(!!)straight to the point and interesting information.
