A good platform
I have this book and essential arms too, they compliment each other quite nicely. This book really is for beginners, but in that repect it is an excellent book. Inside you have a 6 week training program and then 4 extension programs which look at different aspects of training, strength, size, sports and using different equipment. For those who want to pack on the muscle this probably isn't the best book, but the concepts considered go further than simply the weights, it promotes a healthy intelligent attitude towards weight lighting and training in general, it also considers cardio work. It is generally a good all round read i think once you understand everything in this book it lets you make better decisions about which direction you want to go in and then perhaps a more advanced book will be neccessary, for the price its worth starting here.
This is the book
I'm not an expert on fitness or bodybuilding but I'm an enthusiast who is training for 2 years, more or less and have been always looking for new books to give me the results everyone is looking for.
I first bought "the complete book of abs" from Kurt Brungardt and followed his programme. By the moment I finished the programme, I had no doubt in buying this book as well as the complete book of arms.
If you want to have a sculpted body, then kurt has the right programme for you. Buy his books and follow his programmes and you'll be satisfied for sure.
