Customer Reviews
Mainly gravy, very little meat
This book might be useful for absolute beginners. Anyone who has ever lifted a dumbbell may be disppointed to find that there are only a few 'real' exercises illustrated. The multitude of exercises that are promised turn out to be 'variations on a theme' - now try while standing on one leg, etc.
Overall, disappointing for a book that promised thousands of exercises.
Good for Beginners
I don't know about the other guy - I suppose the "thousands of exercises" thing is a little gimmicky but all in all it provides easy to follow instructions and exercises for someone starting out, and room to grow when needing more. I have no bench and one set of dumbbells and I found the book versatile enough to provide alternatives to fit my situation. I'd recommend.
