Fast, effective and fun!5
With three different types of workout (Upper/Lower body strength training; Slow cardio; Intervals), and the fantastic option of programming your own workout sequence, I come back to this DVD time and time again.

DVD blurb:
"Two long-slow cardio routines (35 min total) - the essential foundation of aerobic fitness.
Two interval workouts (40 min total) - high intensity bursts energize your workout and stretch your calorie burning potential.
Upper and Lower strength training workouts (40 min total) - fire up your metabolism while building strength and contour."

Kathy describes why it's important to include all three types of exercise in your weekly exercise programme in order to burn fat most efficiently - and although the routines individually are short (15-20 mins each), they work!
It's the first Kathy Smith DVD I've bought and I would definitely buy more - the routines on this one are selected from other titles of hers so you get a good feel for her style. She's encouraging without being patronising.

If you're an intermediate exerciser looking for a slightly different approach, with good results, I would highly recommend this programme.

The only negative thing I would say is that she doesn't really do warming up and cooling down on this DVD, so I wouldn't recommend this to a complete beginner - you need to know how to warm up, cool down and stretch, otherwise you could end up very stiff and sore the next day.
