Synopsis

From the Back Cover
"With two children and a full-time job in Coronation Street, people often ask me how I can manage to stay in shape. Well, it hasn’t been easy. Bad eating habits and a hectic lifestyle led me to put on weight and feel tired and run-down. I decided to do something about it. I developed an effective exercise plan which is the basis of the classes I teach 3 times a week and in this video I share with you my workout secrets.

My Real Results routine is safe, effective and will get you into shape fast, and you’ll have fun too! It worked for me and my class. So, if you want to look and feel great, join us and we’ll help you slim down, tone up and get real results for yourself. What are you waiting for, go for it!" -- Beverley Callard

Beverley Callard - Rapid Results4
This is a great fitness DVD for anyone out of condition or first time exercisers. I bought it in the New Year after the overeating/drinking over Christmas and it's really helped. When I first started working out to it the routines got me a bit flustered and some of the moves went awry but after several attempts I mastered them! There's one girl in the exercise group who irritates the life out of me but apart from that, I'd highly recommend this DVD. I'm looking to try another one so that I can alternate them in an effort not to get bored!

Good luck.

Highly Recommended5
I have lots of fitness DVDs but I'd stayed away from Beverley Callard's because I don't particulary like her character in Coronation Street. However I saw on a Channel Four show that this workout came top in a test of 10 fitness tapes so I thought I'd give it a go.

It has a warm-up then an aerobics section, then an arm workout (with or without weights), and there is also a leg section with lunges etc. After that there is a mat workout with parts concentrating on the legs, bums and stomachs as well as stretching.

I was a little disappointed when the aerobics section finished so quickly - I was enjoying it and it lasted a very short time, but the rest of the workout was certainly very good too - even though I've done Nell McAndrew and Davina McCall's workouts, this one really did do the business.

I've given it five stars because I have stuck with it and I've started to see results, but I do have some quibbles. Beverley is a bit annoying - after a few viewings her quips grate and she does this mad staring thing with her eyes. The music is pretty terrible, but I've started turning the volume down and playing my own music over it.

Other than that, I'm extremely pleased I bought it.

Old classic5
I brought this on VHS back in 1996 and it really helped me in my weight loss back then. I did the workout 2/3 times a week and really did get good results. The music is old but that didn't really bother me too much as the workout is really easy to follow and you just kind of get into it.
Since then the weight has crept back on and after trying various other workouts with other "stars" I'm now going back to Bev but this time on DVD.
The old ones are the best!!!!!!
