Unlike step counters, the Foot Pod can accurately report your distance traveled whether you're walking, jogging or sprinting. Great bit of kit
After getting the Foot Pod out of the box, you take your laces out of one of your running shoes feed them through the Foot Pod and press and hold the button of the front and you are away. The Forerunner detects the unit and asks if you would like to use it and if you would like to calibrate it.

Calibration is easy (although I havent done it yet!), find your nearest 400m running track press start, run 800m and press stop (on the Forerunner) input your measurement and you are calibrated. Even without calibration it is 97% accurate. Its great that I can now run on my treadmill and input all of my runs on SportsTracks and Garmin training Center. Now we aree coming up to Spring/Summer I think that I will be rarely using it, but if it is raining heavily, on the treadmill I will go and I can keep recording my performance. But in 6mths time back to winter.....

For the unit + Delivery it came to £42 which is by far the cheapest I found on the internet and delivery was next day. Thanks again Amazon you have come up trumps ;-)
