Not wide enough
This is a solid enough piece of kit, however the two posts are not far apart enough. You can do close grip bench press or wide grip, but it is pretty much impossible to do a normal grip bench press as the two hooks that the weights rest on will get in the way of your hands. This makes the product almost unusable, unless you are very short.
Does the job, but!
Hi
I bought this weight bench 6 weeks ago, and I love having in there. It is really well built and sturdy. The only down side is if you are tall, your feet will drag on the leg exersizes, so if you are 5 10 or more, go and try one in a shop first! . Also for these leg exercizes , if you use the vinyl weights, you wont be able to fit enough weight on!
York bench b540
I'm very happy with this bench.
I needed a bench for at home as I didn't have the time to go to the gym everyday also I needed one that could fold away because I live in a small flat. It is very sturdy and well made and I would definately recommend It to anyone looking for a good home bench. It folds away between the two back posts but does stick out a bit but for the price and build its Great!.
I use a 1" width bar at the mo but this bench will take a 2" olympic bar that most gyms use.
