Great workout for your lungs
The price is a bit humpy I agree (I mean on Amazon you can buy a whole cycle for not much more...so compare the costs of manufacture between the two! I think £25 for this would NOT be profiteering!! The Amazon price is the best price I found, on one site they were knocking them out for £89.99!!

The cost of the unit aside it is a well made little thing, it is easy to use and from the first time you use it improvements in breathing can be felt. Persevere though! This is like all exercise, it has to be measured by repitition over time. Doesn't take long, do it while relaxing in front of the teevee (the cat will give you a funny look though!), it takes just a few minutes to do the exercises, it is easy to keep clean and germ free, I would recommend it for sportspeople, and anyone who gets a bit 'puffed out' doing low intensity training too. I found after a month I added 50% to my endurance when running and hiking and playing soccer and weight training, it makes your breathing deeper and the extra O2 you take in is felt right away, there is a buzz involved when you start as your lungs ain't used to the force and you may feel like wimping out and give up (I saw one for sale on E Bay for a £5..."used once"..."unwanted present"..."has been wiped".....ewwwww!

If you are not used to the discipline of regular exercise then maybe this is not for you, all exercise is about repetition and resistance, this gizmo is adjustable for adding more resistance, start low and work up, give it 4 weeks and banish the out of breath sensation for ever!

As it says on the tin
I've read other people's review on the fact that it had what looked like hairs. Nothing to worry about...its just the way its packaged. I cleaned it up and started using it.
I tried it on the top level and geez was it hard... so i turned it down to about level 4 and even then it was not an easy task.
So I went all the way down to level 0 to start with...
I've had it for 2 weeks and i have seen an increase in my lung capacity. I'm not out of breath when i go to the top of the 3rd floor steps.
I'm up to level 4 and it feels great.
I've noticed that when I'm on the last few breaths the nose clip really comes into use as my body tries to breath in through the nose...you might pop your ears a bit. not to worry .. just try and think about how you are breathing.
Over all I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it.

Well, they aren't covered in human hair, or any other type of hair, there are just a few fibers from the protective bag, loose, and I don't consider this to be a problem. If you are constant with your powerbreathe, you will notice the difference.
