good for triceps and biceps
i was going to get and e-z bar to do bicep curls, as it takes the pressure off your wrist unlike the strait bar. This bar has the same part as the e-z bar for curls with the added bit in the middle for doing triceps, which works out as great value for money.

Not the same as in picture.
The bar in the picture is clearly a higher quality and better designed bar than the one that was delivered. The bar delivered was not York but a clearly cheap bar from china, the portion in the middle designed for tricep exercises is completely different than in the picture and is far smaller and closer together making it impossible to keep good form with elbows tucked in and forcing them outwards and uncomortable, it is just a generally poorly designed bar with poor construction. The first bar that came had a broken collar that had not been welded securely enough and so just slid down the bar, this was however swiftly replaced once amazon was informed. But all round not a good buy and not the same bar as shown in the picture.
