    Tread lightly2
    I've only had this treadmill for about four weeks and already the rubber pads either side (where you stand) are peeling off! The clear plastic covering on the panel is also peeling off! Otherwise seems useful, I'm a diabetic so helps keep me fit. Can't recommend it for looks, can recommend it for keeping you healthy. The electronic programs aren't that variable sadly and if you pull out the key, it's vey annoying that you cannot restart from where you stopped - you have to start from beginning again! You lose your calorie count, you lose your distance count, you lose you time count!

    I bought this as a replacement for a cross-trainer as I am really unfit and the cross-trainer was too strenuous for a beginner to spend a decent amount of time on. This is a much gentler exercise as you can start out simply walking and build up to jogging / running if you want to.

    Once set up, the product is great. It feels sturdy and solid. I am sure it is unlikely to break but the warranty is excellent so there should not be anything to worry about.

    The machine is very heavy. I set it up in a spare bedroom and it took a lot of lifting up the stairs. This is because most of the machine comes in one piece. This is great for setting the thing up (less than fifteen minutes to have it running, using the tools provided) but means it is difficult to transport. Once it is place though most people will not move it and alothough it is large, it takes up less space than the cross trainer did because the deck folds out of the way. In use, you really need about six feet of space so you have enough room if you were to trip and fall off.

    There is one error in the description of the treadmill. It says on Amazon that the top speed is 12kph. It is actually 10kph.
