Video Description
The critically acclaimed fitness series from the Ministry of Sound is back and this year's workout is bigger & better than ever! The 7th edition of the top selling DVD is choreographed & presented again by Gareth Walker (famed for working with acts like Take That, Mika, Jamelia, and Beverly Knight). This year professional dancer Stephanie Fitzpatrick also steps up to present alongside him.

Stephanie has been the star of countless music videos in particular this year the massive top 5 hits from H `Two' O & September. Her role upfront is a great addition to give safety tips and help encourage throughout.

To complete the team we have invited back Frankie & Ella both who've featured in the Pump It Up DVD's before, plus new member fellow dancer Funda.

The soundtrack to the 2008 edition is, as always, full of the biggest dance hits of the year. Top 5 hits from Eric Prydz, Dizzee Rascal & Calvin Harris, Basshunter & September all feature. Plus hot new releases soon to be making their way to the top of the charts from Platnum & Christian Falke Feat Robyn.

This year's workout is a similar set up to before with warm up & tone before the separate fitness levels followed by a cool down and stretch . As an extra special feature Gareth has also choreographed a dance classics routine which is an extension from last year's Dancemix DVD.
If you're a fan of dance music and you love to get fit there is no better way than to Pump It Up!

This workout is fabulous!!5
I love fitness dvds and I have a large collection of fitness dvds to help keep me in good shape. All of my fitness dvds are from the States, I have the Firm workouts, Amy Bentos and Cathe Friedrich's workouts. I had never tried a British fitness dvd before but I saw this dvd advertised on Amazon and decided to buy it. I'm very glad that I did because it's one great workout. I would say it's the toughest fitness dvd that I have, the music on the dvd is great and very motivating and the workout sections are very well thought out. There is a warm up, toning section(this section was probably the easiest but I did find the squats tough), two aerobic sections and a cool down with ab work. I sweated buckets and felt great when I completed the workout, it was very challenging. I can't wait to do it again. I would definitely recommend this workout to intermediate and advanced exercisers. Enjoy!

Fab!5
I really enjoyed this DVD, i don't agree that it is too difficult to follow and found the instruction very clear. It is alot more of aerobics than dance but is choreographed in a way in which you feel like you are dancing. The dance classics section is a bit more tricky to pick up but if you are already a dancer or are familiar with all of the previous pump it ups, in particular the last one then you should have no problem getting to grips with it after a couple of tries.
Again the cooling down section includes a good workout of the stomach before a stretch it out section.
Gareth the instructor makes it a fun workout and Stephanie fitzpatrick (from the previous pump it up) who presents alongside him is a fantastic dancer and demonstrates the moves really well.
Would recommend

Good but not their best4
I have all the other MoS workout DVDs and have now done this most recent release twice.
As Gareth was involved, the choreography is a bit complicated, like in the Dancemix DVD. It is just a matter of being determined and concentrating, eventually you will learn the moves and get a sense of achievement. However, if you do not have the patience and prefer repetative, focussed and simple moves, this is NOT for you.
Two things I am not so keen on:
- the spinning moves. They just make me dizzy and I cannot see how they are of much benefit fitness-wise. So I just leave this part out.
- some of the moves require a lot of space, such as the backwards grapevine. Once you are dizzy from the spinning and then have to run backwards across the room, you end up falling over the sofa, which is not ideal.

Also, the whole thing seems a bit stiff overall - maybe because there are two instructors? But generally a lot of fun with great music! Loads of situps too.
