Jane Dunn describes herself as a wife, mother, and grandmother with an overwhelming love of the freedom of the open road, She and her husband are experienced campers and enjoy nothing more than setting off on another magical trip with, as she says, our house on our back . The author pursues interests in chamber music and opera, and loves to haunt antique shops, Gardening, cooking, and interior design and decoration are abiding passions, and she enjoys heated discussions on politics around the dining table. Future plans include another motorhome tour of New Zealand to visit the places missed on the last trip, and a caravan tour of Spain.

Motorhome Magic in New Zealand
As we intend to visit New Zealand in the New Year, I ordered Jane Dunn's book from my favorite bookshop Amazon.
The book is a wealth of information and certainly tells you where NOT to go or EAT, however I found some of Jane's remarks rather facetious and unsuitable to what one would expect in a travel book. How she managed to lose two kilos of weight after all she ate and drank, I really don't know. I hope that the cost of living in New Zealand isn't more than the country where we live (Switzerland). Furthermore, I didn't think that some of her rather rude comments about other campers and their clothes should have been put in print and I found them quite out of place in what should have been a very factual travel book.
