Product Description
Jane Dunn concludes that she has fallen in love with her own country of New Zealand, having toured it top to toe in a modern campervan. The aim of the trip was to compare, for future holidays at home or abroad, the advantages between towed caravan and the campervan, and she offers readers her considerable experience on both methods of touring. She helps the intending traveller all the way with valuable information on vehicle selection, routes to follow, road and campground conditions, suggests time-saving itineraries for major tourist attractions and The Lord of the Rings fans, and gives a comprehensive guide to costs. But Jane's book is so much more about the wonders of New Zealand, and one is sure to want to visit the paradise of islands and people described in this compelling book. This is no ordinary travelogue for it is an adventure, spiced with Jane's humour, a book to be read for its own sake, not just for information, and a joyful expose of a beloved and re-discovered country.
