Great value bike
Brought this for my 9 year old son for an early birthday present (December birthdays suck!)
I was impressed by the amount of features this has as standard for the money, even has a bell on it ! Bike assembly is straightforward, you need to run over it and make sure all the nuts are tight too as a after a week of riding it my son moved the handlebars and on inspection the nut just wasn't tight. Front disc break is good enough, probably not competition standard but he loves the fact he has it.
Its stood up to two weeks of treatment by a 9 year old and that's saying something.

Good sturdy bike when eventually arrived
I ordered this bike for my son for his 9th birthday. I shopped around extensively beforehand and as this one was in stock and I have used Amazon many times before and been very impressed with their service, I chose this one for him. I ordered the bike on a Friday evening with his birthday the following Friday. I paid the extra (almost £6) for it to be delivered first class (stated as 1-2 business days)to be sure that it would arrive on time. I didn't want to take the chance of the Supersaver delivery, just in case. It was stated on my account that delivery date would be the Tuesday or Wednesday (1-2 business days if you count the Monday as the day of ordering). In fact, the bike did not arrive until the Friday morning - in time (just) for the birthday boy, but not in time for him to ride it for his birthday as it needed putting together! I am very disappointed with Amazon's so called 'first class' delivery as I believe as the item was listed as in stock and the extra paid, more effort should have been made to deliver the item on the dates given. Beware paying the extra to 'guarantee' delivery - it might not happen!

Bit heavy!
I wish I had done a bit more research into bikes regarding weight. Seems I should have looked out for an aluminium frame. This one is too heavy for my boy(9)to carry over steps etc. He might be able to as he grows and gets stronger as the bike should last him a few years size wise.
Other than the weight it is a very nice bike for the price (bikes with aluminium frames aren't that cheap)and does come with a bell and reflectors.
My son is happy with it but the next bike I buy him will have an aluminium frame.
