Synopsis
The Amulet of Peace ensures that humans and dragons co-exist harmoniously within the mythical land of Earthsea. When an attack on a temple leaves the amulet broken, however, peace is threatened. Only Neophyte Wizard Ged can restore the relic, and so he embarks upon a perilous mission. Based on the series of books by Ursula K. Le Guin.

If your reading this review, know that im not lying- and you'll probably buy it at the cheapest third party seller- just to make sure. DON'T! This is bad- make you angry bad.
An ideal gift for a relative you don't like.

Okay but only if you don't know the books
Chalk up another bad TV adaptation for Ursula LeGuin. This non-animated two-part TV series might work as a bit of cliched fantasy if you haven't read the books. There's nothing really terrible about it as television. Trouble is if you've read the books you'll know that what they left out is much, much,much better than what they left in or made up. The Japanese cartoon film Tales of Earthsea was honest from the start by saying it was just inspired by the books, but this show might make people think Le Guin wrote a series of books about white magicians. She did much more and there's a great series of films waiting to be made by someone who really read them.

Oh my Gosh what have they done?
This adaptation of the Classic Earthsea books bears little (if any resemblance) to Ursula Le Guinn's books. The adaption is so bad that the author has had to defend herself as to why she let it be adapted.
